The American Auto-maker Ford has ready for its latest refreshed model of EcoSport before Christmas this year. The Ford EcoSport current variant already has a strong presence in the premium SUV segments. The newly styled 2016 Ford EcoSport has some cosmetic changes with some improved mechanical also.
In the refreshed model of 2016 Ford EcoSport is expected to carry the same engine 1.5-litre TDCi diesel with a maximum power of 90hp, 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine with a maximum power of 123hp and 1.5-liter TiVCT petrol with a maximum power of 110hp. The suspension has got some updates in the form of a revised spring and damper setting and a lowered ride height.
It is being some news coming out that the 2016 EcoSport could also with a slight increase in power to 98.6bhp and torque to 2015Nm as the new Ford Aspire uses the same engine but with higher power and torque figure and also the car will get new power steering.
In the refreshed model of EcoSport gets some cosmetic changes on the exterior, in terms of design, the 2016 Ford EcoSport will get a new front and rear bumper that will feature a clean and modern look. The front side of the SUV is not many changes just change in headlamps. The side profile gets revised alloy wheel larger 17-inch. Most of the look is identical in the upcoming 2016 EcoSport.
For the interior, the upcoming Ford Ecosport will be fitted with improved infotainment display. It also comes to the report that, the latest 2016 EcoSport will further improving the NVH making it less noisy. The seating arrangement is the same identical the rear boot space will compromise for additional Tyre. Other parts of the interior are mostly the same as a current model have.
The upcoming car expected to come to the market at the list before 25th December this year and expected to price between Rs.6.8 Lakh to 10.5 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company did not confirm anything about the 2016 Ford EcoSport.
Suzuki Motor has confirmed that the upcoming Suzuki Ignis Compact SUV will debut at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show on 29 October, before that, Suzuki Motor released the first image of the car. The Suzuki Ignis was earlier showcased in concept from the Suzuki iM-4 at the Geneva Motor Show.
